Tho I will say parts of this thread go into the exact same "dems are weak" and "progressive majority" bullshit and "the base" stuff that cost dems in 10, 14 and 16. And I'll also add dems have always been a disparate coalition in a way the GOP never was and dems have never....

Learned to play the long game. The GOP waited patiently for and built itself up for battle for a moment like 2016 regarding the courts. They never gave up because they didn't forget and I wish dems were able to do the same, because patience is just so underrated.
