We were disappointed with day 1 of @DRC_AU public hearing as the breadth of psychosocial disabilities wasn& #39;t represented & their were limited witnesses with lived experience. We& #39;re hoping day 2 will give a greater insight into mental and emotional distress https://bit.ly/3cl6WCy ">https://bit.ly/3cl6WCy&q...

Glen& #39;s sister raises concerns about the lack of support for Glen from staff. They were neither trained nor respectful, even after Glen had died. There must be higher qualifications and training for staff in group homes for people with psychosocial disability #DisabilityRC
Human rights are a major concern for people living with psychosocial disability, as they are so often taken from us! Our human rights must be upheld! #DisabilityRC
Glen had a voice but he was never heard. Just as so many others living with mental or emotional distress experience! Nothing about us without us! #DisabilityRC
