Our family hasn't seen neighborhood kids or been able to find a playdate since April. Its been so sad. Took daughter on a walk today. Stopped a few blocks away to look at someones yard decor. A kid saw her through the window and came running out. They knew each other.

Then the neighbors window blinds went up. Two kids heard the commotion. Came running out. Were in class last year together. Then another kid came out from a nearby house. When the pandemic hit, we were new to town, had no parent phone numbers or contacts yet. Then got cut off

The school has restarted online but cant/wont give out class lists with parent contacts (which i think is silly). Anyways. Real tears y’all. I havent seen my kid run and laugh and play with another kid for 5 months. She teared up too. Been so isolated. What a happy stroke of luck
