THREAD

People ask me why I say that this moment in American history was sixty years in the making.

@realDonaldTrump knows.

It started with the "Beat movement" or the "Beat Generation."

What was THAT?
This was the start of societal decay.

"Beat" meant "exhausted, worn out."

By having to be civilized.

They advocated MASSIVE drug use, sexual hedonism, and rebellion against all possible norms.
It wasn't good enough for them to wreck THEIR lives; they had to wreck EVERYBODY'S life.

They needed FOLLOWERS.

Acolytes.

They preyed on the young and impressionable.

WHAT HAD THERY SUFFERED?

Nothing at all. It was another movement based on a lie.
The 1950s were ANYTHING BUT conformist.

This is an academic construct.

People wore suits AS A DISGUISE.

Like Trump, they blended in so that they could do what they wanted UNDISTURBED.

The beatniks were vacuous poseurs FAR MORE CONFORMIST than the conservatives they hated.
The whole movement was centered about drugs, animalistic sex, and personal debauchery.

Their hero was Neal Cassady, who was on speed his entire short life.
Since he was always high, he made no sense whatsoever.

Cassady had a horrific childhood. His mother died when he was ten, and his father was a violent alcoholic. Cassady essentially lived on Skid Row and survived by being a petty criminal.
Denver socialite and high-school guidance counselor Justin W. Brierly took in the 15-year-old Cassady.

Obviously you know what happened.

Brierly was a serial ephebophile--a gay Jeffrey Epstein.

He helped boys as long as they agreed to have sex with them.
At 19, Cassady married a 16-year-old. Of course it was a catastrophe. They moved to New York, where Cassady met up with another of Brierly's victims, Hal Chase.

Chase introduced Cassady to Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, the two seminal figures of the Beat movement.
Cassady was highly intelligent but too troubled to function. His wife left him, and he met an intellectual named Carolyn Robinson back in Denver.

She was amazed by this braniac from the slums, so they married and had three children, moving to California.
At the same time, Cassady was involved with Allen Ginsberg, a sexual relationship that lasted the rest of Cassady's life.

Cassady worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and illegally married a SECOND woman, having a child with her.
After Cassady got himself a disability for a train accident, he was free to roam the country with Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.

Their experiences became Kerouac's seminal book On the Road.

Cassady was arrested for drugs in California.
After two years in San Quentin, his wife Carolyn divorced him to "relieve him of the burden of supporting a family."

Since he was essentially a hobo, she said that his self-esteem couldn't handle knowing that he was a horrible father.

Cassady moved to San Francisco.
He hooked up with LSD guru Ken Kesey and traveled the country dosing unsuspecting average Americans with LSD.

Tom Wolfe documents it in his book The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, one of the most depressing things I've ever read.

"Electric" means "dosed with LSD."
From the Beat generation came the hippie movement.

Beatniks were the direct progenitors of radical leftism in the US.

Neal Cassady fled to Mexico to escape the mayhem in his own head.

Since he never stopped taking drugs, this was futile.
He attended a wedding on the night of February 3, 1968, wearing only a T-shirt and jeans despite the freezing temperature and rain.

He then decided to WALK along a railroad track to the next town.

They found him in a coma the next day and carried him to a local post office.
The ambulance came and took him to a distant hospital, but he died a few hours later.

This tortured, insane man was seen as in control of all his faculties.

Of course everybody LIED about him, but this entire movement is sadistic and inhumane to an astonishing degree.
By the end of his life, Allen Ginsberg basically admitted that he was an active you-know-what, and he said he wanted the age of consent to be abolished.

Now do you see why I said this was 60 years in the making?
I recommend everyone watch David Cronenberg's The Naked Lunch.
William S. Burroughs was a gun nut.

He killed his wife in Mexico. Burroughs and his wife were titanic alcoholics, and he was also a heroin and speed addict.

What made him so unhappy?

MONEY.

He was born into a wealthy family, poor fella.
His wife mocked him for being gay, and he was really pissed off, so at a drunken party, he pulled out his pistol and said, "It's time for our William Tell act."

She defiantly put a shot glass on her head, and he shot and killed her on the spot.
The Mexican were bribed to give him a slap on the wrist, and he fled to the US to avoid doing even the two-year sentence.

NOBODY CARED ABOUT HIS WIFE.

Allen Ginsberg thought the whole thing was sexy.
He wrote this:

"Joan, what kind of knowledge have the dead? can you still love your mortal acquaintances? What do you remember of us?"

As if any of these freaks could love ANYBODY.
See my point?

These are all toxic, destructive, egomaniacal, fatally damaged PREDATORS.

And it started 60 years ago.

I always hated these bastards. I knew where this was headed.
Allen Ginsberg's poem Howl set this nightmare in motion.

You should read it.

Talk about Johnny One-Note being able to sing only one note:
"What sphinx of cement and aluminum bashed open their skulls and ate up their brains and imagination?
Moloch! Solitude! Filth! Ugliness! Ashcans and unobtainable dollars! Children screaming under the stairways! Boys sobbing in armies! Old men weeping in the parks!"
The negativity and destruction started 60 years ago with the Beat movement.

We're living in the logical culmination.

ONE ELECTION kills it all.

Finally.

Here's a much better poem than Howl:
Once a man clambering to the housetops
Appealed to the heavens.
With strong voice he called to the deaf spheres;
A warrior's shout he raised to the suns.
Lo, at last, there was a dot on the clouds,
And -- at last and at last --
-- God -- the sky was filled with armies.
By Stephen Crane.

That strong-voiced man is Donald John Trump.

WE are his armies.
