Help, please. A colleague asked for work on Buddhism and the senses, especially in China. My brain is shut down, alas. What work should I recommend? Things a lit and culture scholar would use, so less technical phil of mind stuff, methinks. (Copp on the senses is known to me)

Also, general things that would counter the eye-roller that Buddhism was about a turn away from the world, the senses, the body, the the (as Wallace Stevens might have put it). A thousand hoots of gratitude in advance.

And yes, I know I should have all this ready to fingertips. Like I said, brain no damned good these days
