Hi, just a reminder that your job does not dictate your worth in any way shape or form! Don’t let anybody make you feel bad about what you do. You are doing it to get by and make money. Every job is valuable.
And also a reminder to not judge yourself too harshly if you can’t find work in your industry. I, like many others, have a BA (in media communications) but have been unable to even land entry positions. Don’t give up! You are still worthy and valid. Experience means shit.
This thread is inspired by my boomer parents criticizing my lifestyle choices. It didn't bother me because I'm happy where I am, but I know other people in my shoes might feel otherwise.
