Fuck it.

I was Noelle’s Social Media Coordinator. I was initially proud to have been on the team, but her flip-flopping and push for us to believe Russiagate always worried me.

On the campaign trail, she instructed us to hardly be vocal about her foreign policy. Even before I

joined, she once tweeted she differs greatly from Tulsi on foreign policy, which I don’t see how that’s a good thing.

She always claimed she was being attacked by Russian bots. No. Not ordinary bots. Russian bots. And her proof was that was “look at their profiles,” all of which

there was nothing unusual about these profiles of which some existed before 2016.

Her showing up on Niko’s show was a huge step forward for the campaign. But as an insider, it was humiliating when she started talking about Russiagate, especially since I was the one who DM’ed

Niko to have her on as the election wasn’t so far from happening. So, my mistake

She always made a bunch of claims without any true backing to it. She even tried saying Zuckerberg donates to Kai Kahele but even on Open Secrets there was no proof of that. And it wasn’t until I

pointed that out right before the election she realized we should stop saying that if we donnt want to be sued for slander

She also made up fake rules on pointing out Kai’s record. She would claim that it’s federal law for House candidates to not “attack” other candidates

even going as far as to say that campaigns are not allowed to tag that of other candidates who they are running against. That’s why if you look through her tweets, you wonnt find a single one with Kai tagged

Hell, she even discouraged us from having her page engage in any sort of kind and civil conversations with Brian Evans. She was always so paranoid of him even when he would offer us some help to beat Kai for the nomination.

To top it all off, she told me we are not allowed to

talk about Russiagate when we were tweeting as her because of “House Ethics rules” (which made zero sense).

And to this day, she blamed sexism for the loss. I never understood how that piece fit in to the puzzle but somehow it did for her

So, why am I telling everyone this?

Because there were a lot of weird things that went down on the campaign trail. Some of these things made me feel doubtful about our performance, but I stayed on hoping the greater good would win

I only now realized that the greater good was

Brian. Seeing his instagram posts and whatnot, Brian seems like a kind man and had a full and clear platform since the beginning. Even with a record of advocacy on medical errors and sleep apnea, of which his work has been recognized by governors of 40 US States

Guess I should’ve gone with my heart, but instead I wanted to believe Noelle was the best candidate for the Democratic nomination.

Noelle, if you see this, it’s nothing personal. Love you as a person, but politically...that’s changed

And as somebody who pulled off some all-nighters for you, edited your website and sent emails to Hawaiian legislators to endorse you, even having to get you on the air myself because you would always miss interviews, this makes me feel betrayed
