The PM just blamed people breaking guidelines for the rise in COVID. There isn't much evidence for this - things that have not only been allowed under guidelines but have been encouraged, e.g. being in indoor public spaces, have also carried a risk. He should stop trying to dodge
his responsibility for this. It was the PM who encouraged ppl back to offices and Rishi Sunak who did Eat Out to Help Out. Yes, personal behaviour matters, but the public have been guided by the Government on what was safe and were promised a decent testing system to catch
and minimise outbreaks. I know that people working on the COVID response across different organisations have been tearing their hair out at Government incompetence. We have been let down by the Government, utterly let down.
