Our hearts are heavy after today's PM statement. Whilst we feel immensely frustrated and yes, angry, that our couples and colleagues have been let down again, please be rest assured that here at #studiosorores we will continue to fight for our sector and for our clients.
Please do have a little patience over the next week with the campaign team at #whataboutweddings - we are not going anywhere, but we do need time to process this latest update and work out the next steps in a smart and intelligent way.
For now though, we want to thank all of you for your exceptional campaign support so far - couples, businesses owners, everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to lobby and write to your MP's. Thank you for sharing our hashtag, for sharing your stories and for braving it on local radio stations, TV and in the news papers.
Thank you for all the compromises you have made to ensure weddings have been able to continue in recent months in a well considered, safe and legal way.
Weddings in the UK are NOT 'superspreader' events - the government's own statistics prove that. We know what sacrifices have been made in guest numbers, rituals and postponements.
For some of you they have been so great we find it hard to have the words to support you. Know we are thinking of you.
Whilst we regroup and work things out, we have a huge favour to ask of all of you: PLEASE make some noise tonight. Share the hashtag #whataboutweddings on Twitter and here on Instagram. TELL YOUR STORIES.
Retweet others. Support one another. Pick up your laptop and write to your your local MP. Even if you’ve done it before. Tell them in no uncertain terms how reducing weddings from 30 to 15 (for at least 6 months) will impact your wedding, and/or your wedding business.
We need to use tonight to ensure we are all heard. Worth £14.7bn to the economy every year. Hundreds of thousands of couples, businesses and jobs are impacted.

You can visit the http://WhatAboutWeddings.co.uk  website and access MP letter templates and links to find out who your MP is.
And for those of you planning on going ahead with your weddings of 15 max from Monday 28th September - go forth, be married and celebrate with pride and joy! You can find lots of useful information about how to celebrate safely at http://CovidSafeWeddings.co.uk .
If anyone is struggling with mental health in the light of further restrictions today, know you are not alone. Please know your community is right by you. You can also call the Samaritans on 116 123 (free 24-hour helpline).
