Vegetables don’t contain any essential micronutrients that meat doesn’t already have
Clarification: vegetables contain micronutrients. Meat ALSO contains micronutrients. Don’t forget that meat is part of a well balanced diet.
Yes, some vegetables have more micronutrients than meats, vitamin C and magnesium are good examples. Meat has more of other micronutrients compared to vegetables, like heme iron and retinol.
Excuse me for being inflammatory, clearly I got a reaction out of nutritional twitter. I will do better next time.

My main message was that people should not discount animal products for micronutrients.
Here in France, micronutrient-rich organ meats are not considered "gross" or taboo.

So for me to recommend organ meats for nutrition is not at all shocking here. Of course, I adapt my nutrition planning to each individuals diet preferences.
