“Joking” about violently harming a woman during sex should be beyond the pale. It’s actually quite frightening to me that it isn’t as long as you swear allegiance to the right politics.

Actually, I should correct that. The joke is about causing grave physical harm to a woman during *rape*, not sex. No-one consents to harm like that. If that sits ok with you I wouldn’t want you within 100 miles of me.

And people wonder why women are often angry. Have you the first clue how it feels to read people treat rape & sexual assault as a subject for mirth?
