One of the things I love about music is how it can start in one part of the world, travel to another part of the world through various mediums and have artists from other parts of the world adopt it as their sound. It's so beautiful. Music is a very powerful thing. (1/n)

Take hip hop for example. It started in New York on the east coast. It slowly proliferated and the other areas of America picked it up and put their own style and spin on it. Eventually it traveled across the world and it's evolved. (2/n)

You have hip hop artists from various countries that sing in the local language/dialect. For me music transcends language and that is why I believe it allows it to travel to far corners of the world. Drill started in Chicago and now it's becoming a global sound. (3/n)

Case in point being the Kumericans. They're fucking owning the sound. Can't wait to see other countries also add their versions of it. Here for more diverse and varied music. (4/4)
