lately some people has been stop being an ot5, which is totally valid and there’s no problem with it, but some people started hating and being disrespectful to the ones who still are.

and i know how it feels because I’m one, because we are supposed to be toxic, and yes, in every fandom there’s toxic people but that doesn’t mean that everyone who’s in it it’s toxic.

sometimes you feel scared of saying that you’re ot5 because people would attack you or would try to drag you down, I completely get it, and it hurts cause the only thing that you’re doing is supporting your idols.

“They’re not even together anymore”, we know, but that doesn’t mean that I’m gonna stop supporting them. It’s my decision and if I want to stan them, I will.

“they’re not getting back together”, that’s valid, I know and it’s probable that they won’t , but most of us just want to see them happy, if they are happier being solo artists we’re okay with it, after all, what matters is they’re happiness and well being.

for us being ot5 doesn’t mean that we’ll go and hate on someone that does not stan the 5 of them, it doesn’t matter, we’re doing the same thing as you, stop hating on us there’s nothing wrong w loving the 5 of them.

respect us,, we’re human beings, we deserve to express ourselves without feeling scared of what people will say.

listen to me, stop being scared, it’s hard I know, but you’re not alone there’s still a lot of us out there:)

if someone hates on you or disrespect you in any way, don’t insult them back, show them that you’re better, they’ll learn with the time.

the boys love you so much, remember they wouldn’t be this successful if our crazy asses didn’t were here<3

they’re grateful for having you, their living their dreams because you helped them. They smile thinking how lucky they’re to having you in their lives.

you’re gonna be okay, remember that more than a fandom we’re a family, if something goes wrong we’ll be here to support each other <3

oh! and a little reminder that ot5s can get along with harries, louies, Niall stans, zquad and Liam stans. We can get along with ot4, zourriams, zouiams, zouies, larries, etc. We still stan the same people so don’t hate on us for liking one of the boys that you don’t.

spread love instead of hate, I promise to you that’s more effective.

I’m an ot5 and I’m asking if people could stop hating or being disrespectful in any way to us, we understand that you may not like one of them, but instead of attacking and making us feel worthless just ignore, keep scrolling , continue your life.

you’re valid, loved and such an amazing soul, you deserve to be happy, so ignore the bad people and focus on the good things!
