ok genderbend edits,,, since these r pretty popular let's discuss some important things that ppl ignore abt it

what r genderbend edits,, so ok you probably have seen atleast one of it for example cooheart edits having long hair and intense makeup uhh

now where exactly does it goes wrong?

it goes wrong when you label this edits as "Girl Version Cooheart" "Cooheart as a girl"

first it enforces stereotypes such as

man + wig = woman
man + boobs = woman

which are wrong,, you dont have to have this things to be a woman.

sure sure making earth's hair long and adding makeup to him (when he already does) is earth being feminine but it doesn't have to be earth being a woman. bcs again it pushes streotypes to how trans people, or even cis people should look like.

and most of these genderbend edits are cisnormative... cis male <—> cis female erases the possibility of a character or a person being transgender, now that's transphobic.

another thing! gender bending trans people are very transphobic, it's reversing how they feel.
