Existing is Exhausting is now available on Spotify. I wrote, performed, and released it independently. I’m really proud of this collection of jokes.
Please share it around and let your comedy loving friends know. Much appreciated.
But, lets talk about Spotify.

But, lets talk about Spotify.
It’s been available on my website, Apple Music, and Google Play for few months now. The reason I hesitated with Spotify is that they barely compensate their artists. It’s about .004 cents per play. You’d have to listen to 2500 tracks before I made ten bucks.
I suspect most of your quarantine days were filled with art (or, *shudder*, content) someone else made. I don’t know what that’s worth, exactly, but it’s more than .004 cents.
Don’t get me wrong - I use Spotify - but I do think its important that people know how these models work. If you want to support artists, the best way to do that is to buy directly from their websites ( http://mattwrightcomedy.com ). Albums, t-shirts, tickets, whatever.
That said - if you’re not a sociopathic billionaire, it’s been a rough year financially. I’d rather people hear it for free than not at all, so if you want to support without opening your wallet, please share the album and tell your friends.
I’m very, very lucky to make a living from my comedy and that is directly because of people valuing my work. I’m so grateful for that. Thank you
Also to my girlfriend, friends, family, manager, and other comics who keep me in a headspace to make stuff and push me to be better.
