Take aways from Among Us ( apply this to your proffession/ studio life )
1-opinions are swayed way too easily for some because of bias.
2- It& #39;s easy for some to be super informative while also lying at the same time.
3- Get mad=lose
4- hard accusation=lose even if ur innocent
5. some people process information so slowly, that your words literally mean nothing to them. They make judgments solely based on emotional response at this point.
6. Let others speak. ALYWAYS give people enough time to defend themselves.
7. ALWAYS be suspicious of someone who doesn& #39;t let someone defend themself of give them time to defend themselves.
8. Don& #39;t let quite people have an easy ride ever. Always gut check them off guard with a few kind questions. Get any info you can from them.
9. Never be dependant on that ONE same person to lead the meetings. The world and circumstances are changing constantly. If they keep speaking up every time, give the floor to someone else just to mix things up.
10. Constantly ask yourself whats more important to the people speaking up. Getting their way or knowing the truth? Some people want to play the game their way and that& #39;s more important than the team& #39;s goals of winning with their circumstances. Their fun is more important to them
11. Learn how to "hear" the smile in someone& #39;s speech. The different face shape forces someone to actually sound different when they talk. Sometimes liars will smile when they know no one can see them. They think you can& #39;t hear it ;p
12. People are complex and express emotions differently.. anger might actually be desperation or sometimes it& #39;s frustration from making a mistake. Some buckle when under pressure. Anger shouldn& #39;t=losing. It does because we villainize the emotion. Let people express themselves.
13. Some people do it for the memes. Don& #39;t feed the trolls.
14. The best imposter is also oddly enough THAT person that seems to be your best ally. NEVER rely too much on one person for anything. It& #39;s a team game, not who& #39;s the best hero that saved them all. saviors are devils
14- Saviors are Devils in disguise. Its& #39; very common to see THAT person constantly throwing themselves ontop of emergencies just so they can say HEY LOOK IT WAS ME THAT FIXED IT when it was actually them that caused the disaster in the first place.
14- continued- they always make sure they solve the problem when as many people as possible are around to see them fix the thing too. Look for that quiet one that fixes the thing with only one witness. They are the real hero. They risked their life to help.
Some people are comically bad at lying. Don& #39;t chalk it up to being weird. Don& #39;t let the fool make a fool out of all of you. Insta vote them off. If they were innocent, it& #39;ll help them grow and be more useful in the future. Tough love!
16. For crew members there& #39;s nothing more important than the truth. Get the facts straight no matter what or how the information was obtained. "rules" are a choice. Sometimes you have to break them if a genius liar is on the loose-
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭐️" title="Mittelgroßer Stern" aria-label="Emoji: Mittelgroßer Stern">This means as a crew member, sometimes the BEST thing you can do is lie to catch another liar. Get inside their mind. Don& #39;t call them out yet. Take notes, observe patterns get hard cleared. Then mislead them so you can catch them red handed.
17. Building trust is about throwing constant tests at one another. Don& #39;t make the pop quizzes so easy. The best tests are the ones that people don& #39;t even know they& #39;re taking.
18. Don& #39;t expect to be treated equally. More times than not you won& #39;t be given the same trust that others receive. Just because you thought someone saw you clear a task, doesn& #39;t actually mean they& #39;ll ever vouch for you, especially if it benefits them.
19. The best lies have tons of truth sprinkled ontop. It& #39;s even possible to lie while completely telling the truth. "Paltering" It& #39;s one of the most devious ways of lying to people. You mislead people down a spiralling maze of facts that lead them away from the big picture.
20. Gaslighting is only effective if one has a bunch of innocent ( dumb ) people to back them up. It& #39;s not the most efficient way to lie but it& #39;s one of the easiest ways. Expect to see it happen a lot.
21. People that rely on gaslighting KNOW they can& #39;t do it alone. Watch for the accuser that constantly relies on the same peanut gallery to back them up. Gaslighters tend to surround themselves with "Yes men" basically people that THEY think can& #39;t think for themselves.
22. Sometimes those who are innocent and only mean to do good, are actually doing even more harm than the bad ones. If a "savior" that& #39;s been hard cleared is yeeting innocents, VOTE THEM OFF. Their good intentions are worse than people& #39;s bad intentions.
