Building on previous analysis that looked at rates of death involving #COVID19 by occupation, we’ve published analysis to help understand the impact of lockdown on these rates http://ow.ly/q87M50BxCcY
Of the 5,330 deaths involving #COVID19 in the working age population, 72% are assumed to be result of an infection acquired before 23rd March 2020 http://ow.ly/i62g50BxCgo
For both sexes, age-standardised rates of death involving #COVID19 by occupation were statistically significantly lower during lockdown than before lockdown http://ow.ly/rsGW50BxCkL
Some groups, including elementary occupations in men and caring, leisure, and other service occupations in women, had higher than average rates of death involving #COVID19 regardless of when they may have caught the virus http://ow.ly/hsGx50BxCpg
