I completely disagree with @ahmednasirlaw on a number of issues, the word 'shall' does not mean 'may'. Shall is used to show future tense and express a strong intention (using the literal meaning )...... https://twitter.com/ahmednasirlaw/status/1308134065934143488
2)..... The use of shall to mean the president can shelf the advice by the CJ is hogwash.
3) The fact that Ahmed makes it seem that the Chief Justice is only there for the legal Team and not the common mwananchi is shocking, simply because he has not produced philosophy does...
...not mean his advice to the president is lacking.
4) @ahmednasirlaw should realize that Maraga did not wake up one day and decide to advice the president, this is a fight that FIDA has been fighting for a while and he actually is relaying a message from the high court....
...FIDA went to court for this particular issue and was adviced to wait for the parliament to make a legislature, which they have failed to do, as you said sir @ahmednasirlaw Maraga is simply a messager and is acting in his rightful capacity as such.
