All parties/govt’s go out of their way to protect ‘apne log’ - our people. But occasionally, to maintain the veneer of neutrality and adherence to rule of law, you allow action , especially if the stakes are low, and the ‘crime’ is egregiously bad.. 2/n

.. like the Sudarshan show, or Kapil Mishra, or the ABVP attackers of JNU. But this regime has again and again its determination to fight to the last to defend 'our people', regardless of the ruinous impact on the rule of law. 3/n
