Request for construction of Railway over bridge at railway Crossing of Bhilad Railway Station, Dist – Valsad, Gujarat and widening existing Railway underpass situated on same railway track towards north 1 KM distant from railway crossing.

Heavy traffic jam situation and total chaos are prevailing in Bhilad town, Dist – Valsad, Gujarat, starting from N.H. No.48 in Bhilad east to Bhilad Government School/Sarigam Border in Bhilad west. This traffic jam span spreads over 3 KM area.

Chaotic and heavy traffic jam situation have been prevailing in this region since last 7-8 years. Local civic authorities and other concerned authorities have failed to provide permanent solution.

Main reasons are(1) Busy train schedule on western railway line route between Mumbai and Ahmedabad ; (2) Insufficient space of railway underpass situated on same railway track towards north 1 KM distant from Railway Crossing of Bhilad Railway Station allowing only one way traffic

New over bridge may please be constructed at railway crossing of Bhilad Railways Station. New railway underpass adjacent to existing underpass may please be constructed or existing railway underpass may please be widened to allow two-way traffic at one time to pass through it

right now, under lock down, all trains are not operating. Sufficient time is available. Please give necessary direction to all concerned so that action can be initiated and completed to provide permanent solution.
