COVID-19 has brought too many tears. For me, it has been a half year of despair, and I find solace from some naive 1970s songs that promise love will heal everything.

But those songs saw how the hope of the civil rights movement dying a slow death, the horror of Vietnam War.
So maybe when times were hard, people could not help but naively believing in the healing power of love.

So maybe these songs can get me through this dark time as well.
Please add your collection of naive songs about the healing power of love. I will look it up.
Some white guys also sang naive songs about love healing the world. Basically (white) hippie anthems.

"People Train", Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam, 1971. https://open.spotify.com/track/1ppuHX1oVMku5LTL0swNZP?si=QR8y8FPQRNmElPskuGkXMg
And of course, John Lennon with "Imagine", 1971.
Not a fan of this one, though.
