Will be live tweeting key insights on this thread.

"Phone use can lead to domestic violence." Sexual minorities & women may be at an added risk due to shared phones in families and their calls of messages leaving a trace that their family might inflict violence on them for. @anjakovacs @iNetDemocracy
"What can help?" asks @anjakovacs of @iNetDemocracy.
"If a family thinks there's a threat to the honor of the family because of women using mobile phones, then the situation won't improve. We need a constructive societal dialogue."
"Street lights make streets safer. We need to look at that level of infrastructure and policy guidelines to ensure a safer internet for women and minorities online", concludes @anjakovacs of @iNetDemocracy. It's always so insightful to listen to her speak.
"It's no surprise to anyone that the richest people in tech are men. We lack the perspective of women on how to run gender specific needs that aren't addressed by tech platforms. Technology is used to sexualise, terrorise, subjugate women." - Angelica Pago from Manila.
