im like passively analyzing bubble again & i had an interesting thought and im not entirely sure if it necessarily applies 100% of the time & its coming from projection but i am Thinking

bubble only mattering when participating as part of a group but as an individual shes often looked over or straight up forgotten

id have to rewatch the first season in particular to make a proper statement on this but im thinking perhaps the exception is with match & pencil specifically, as they both acknowledged bubble even outside of the alliance or the game

thats probably wat makes their separation hurt even more. theres actual literal evidence that pencil is still thinking about bubble and match also cared when bubble explained how she hurt her. they care about her beyond their alliance but their alliance is effectively gone

hell theyre probably the only two people bubble ever felt remotely close to. most of freesmart/iance she never rly. interacted with that much. and even up to bfb bubble always felt like ruby was there to replace her (and she probably still feels that way tbh)

in post-split bfb after ruby's elimination it was leafy of all people that seemed to be the only one who really. cared about bubble?? but its not like that took either of them very far bc of their whole frenemy conflict that they never resolved

bubble tried really hard to make friends after losing the only people she really considered friends but she failed because she either couldnt make connections or people just straight up didnt care

that failure wasnt her own fault, by any means, but wat it does mean is that it resulted in her elimination being quick and swift right after being told to her face that no one cared to remember her except the one person she cant even talk to

i kinda strayed very far from my original point of analysis with this but i dont have anymore to say atm so end of thread !!!
