I saw this happen to a lot of people we knew on Facebook. I didn't feel *great* voting for Clinton but I knew it was the harm reduction vote, hands down. The same feeling is guiding my vote this year. (Great thread inside) https://twitter.com/allisongill/status/1308115428862951424
One thing 14yo and I were discussing last week is the idea of 'revolution' vs incremental change. What does revolution really mean? How many people die? What are the chances the 'right' people end up in charge afterward? So often, it goes all wrong.
People in Louisiana are so quick to say their vote doesn't count. It counts if you make it count. Poll today had Biden down by 6 here. 7% undecided. If everyone who thinks their vote doesn't count showed up for Biden, we could steal solid red LA away from dear leader.
And I see so much "don't tell me to vote!" "Voting won't fix (X issue)!" On here and y'all, voting is the bare minimum. Voting is step one. We can do so much when we come together and push the same button. We have more power than you think.
