a very long thread about how glitter force is the worst knock off version of sailor moon

i mean it’s pretty obvious that they are the same. but glitter force literally copied it and made it worse, as much as i loved both.

they have the same plot, basically the same villains and the world at stake in every finale. the characters are copies of all of the original characters. but so many things are copied, including traits and looks of the characters.

let’s talk about emily, the main character, leader of the group. we all know she’s the usagi of the group. they both:
-are the leaders
-main characters
-unique hairstyle
-clumsy
-have a little guide as a pet

kelsey is most likely based off of rei, just based off of her powers and her attitude. also, she has fire powers and was the second to be recruited wbk.

lily im having a little trouble with, because i thought she was minako since she’s blonde, but their personalities are totally different. the only thing they have in common are powers and looks. minako is confident and powerful, and lily is insecure and shy.

ok let’s talk about how chloe and april are exact fucking replicas of ami and mako.

I MEAN LOOK AT APRIL AND MAKO?? THEY ARE BOTH INTO SPORTS AND LIKE TO COOK?? AND BOTH HAVE THEIR POWERS GREEN?? WHAT IS THIS

AMI AND CHLOE ARE THE SAME PERSON I MEAN LOOK? BOTH HAVE WATER POWERS AND HAVE BLUE HAIR AND OUTFITS, BOTH BRAINY AND IN LOTS OF CLUBS, I EVEN THINK CHLOE WAS PLAYED BY THE VOICE ACTOR OF AMI

luna and artemis and candy and pop are the same people. one is introduced in the beginning and one comes in later in the series and they are very close and basically the guides of the whole group.

now this, THE WANDS ARE FUCKING UNCANNY THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO HIDE IT

so in conclusion:
yeah both of the plots are about middle school japanese girls given the power to save the world and just so happened to become besties on the way. i loved both of these shows i just hate how they basically did the same exact thing.
