Yes, listen to disabled people. But also listen to disabled PoC, Black & Indigenous disabled people, houseless disabled people, queer & trans disabled people, fat disabled people, people w/ cognitive disabilities, neurodivergent disabled people, mentally ill disabled people
All too often "listen to disabled people" is unconsciously heard as "listen to the most privileged group of disabled people" or "listen to disabled people who don't make you feel uncomfortable." And so you fail to get the full picture of ableism.
This applies to fellow disabled people too.

Disability itself is incredibly varied. It's important to seek out voices of those who have different disabilities than yourself. Along with listening to disabled ppl who experience the combination of ableism + racism, sexism, etc.
The original tweet wasn't meant to be an exhaustive list BUT I wanna add a few more groups that routinely get ignored:

Listen to disabled children, incarcerated disabled people, institutionalized disabled people, disabled people in the global South, & disabled sex workers too
