ANYWAY Ike states multiple times throughout PoR that he dislikes royals/nobles and their petty arguments that lead to the destruction of innocent lives. Him marrying Elincia would be awful for him https://twitter.com/winterwolf181/status/1308193193612247040

Ike would hate being a prince. He could barely tolerate being a noble for like... half a year. Imagine being a PRINCE.

Also Elincia deserves to marry someone who matches her intellectually. I’m not saying Ike is stupid, but I’m saying he has no experience with problem solving

like royals do. Elincia is a fine queen ON HER OWN. She doesn’t need a husband solely because Ike is the Protag and she’s a Princess. It really erases the great development we got from Elincia throughout PoR!
