thusly begins my Soul Silver Nuzlocke, Critical Role themed mega thread:

after making our way towards Mr.Pokemon& #39;s house, and collecting a mysterious egg, we run back to New Bark as P. Elm franticly calls us. on the way, we fight the mysterious "Eodwulf" and his Totadile. After finding out Eodwulf stole him from Elm, the true game begins
our first catch is a hoothoot, which I aptly name P.Thaddeus. hopefully he sticks around longer than the real one. we also catch our third and definitely gonna be fodder character, Marius the kakuna. Our fourth is a lil dip into the dark cave to nab Keg the geodude.
Keg is going to be super helpful for the fight with Falkner, and so is the Mareep caught just south of Violet city. welcome Yasha ! some grinding occurs to get all the team on par, before tackling bellsprout tower, wherein we catch Nott the ghastly
we fight our way to victory atop the tower, where Eodwulf appears again, before disappearing with words of violent intent. the party finishes the tower, and retreats to recover at the local pokemon center.

the party continues, stepping into Falkner& #39;s gym feeling apprehension, but hopeful. Nott is taking a backseat, knowing only ghost moves, but with Keg and Yasha on duty those bird get fried, earning us our first badge, huzzah !

Yasha was techinically my catch on this route, it& #39;s more of a fight every trainer and find all the items location. everyone in our party is now swimming at level 13, except of course that totally mysterious egg that P. Elm gave us. it sits cozy in the sixth party slot for now.
we head into union cave, and...P.Thaddeus kills our first encounter, a rattata. a somber sign of things to come, as we hunt for items, fight a couple of trainers...and encounter a wild onix. it uses harden so many times, I zone out while Nott bravely licks it...
