I have personally used this Research method for crafting my coaching program and creating my digital products.

First, what is Market Research?

Each market has its own set of deep fears, painful struggles, breathtaking dreams, and profound aspirations.

Market Research is the process of finding these details.
Why do you need to perform a Market Research?

If you truly want to create an offer people would kill for, you MUST talk about their NEEDS.

You do so by putting their pains and dreams into words.

If you don't, they will never buy from you.

Ok?

So let's talk about PLAN 0 👇
PLAN 0 stands for:

P - Problems
L - Language
A - Anecdotes
N - Needs
0 - Obstacles

(Zero is actually the letter O)

PLAN 0 must precede the process of creating the offer.

That's why it's called Plan Zero.

Get it?

Anywho, let's talk about each one.
I'll be using the 'Fitness Niche' as an example.

Brace yourself.

You're about to learn the simplest way to perform a money-making market research that actually works.

Let's get it.
PROBLEM

What are the biggest problems the niche have?

They come in 2 categories

1. Physical
What's the physical manifestation of the problem?
ex: My lower back is always sore

2. Emotional
What emotional strain does it cause?
Ex: My back hurts so I'm AFRAID of lifting heavy
LANGUAGE

In this niche, what are the common
- words
- phrases
- keywords

SCIENCE assures that using the same words you notice someone uses will make that person perceive you more as smarter. The same applies to your sales pages and offers

Ex: Mobility, lumbar spine, lower back

ANECDOTES

What are people saying about online in the forums, videos, social media, blogs?

Find how they feel, what they believe...

Ex: "I notice an undeniable release in the tightness so I absolutely recommend it."
"Don't go below your thoracic vertebrae with the foam roller."
Think of Anecdotes as comments.

Read the comments section and extract the core idea to find the:

Problems (Physical & Emotional)

Language (common words, keywords, common belief)

Anecdotes (comments)

Needs (Physical & Emotional)

Obstacles

And talking about obstacles 👇
NEEDS

What do they desperately need/desire?

1. Physical:
What's the end results the product gets them?

Ex: The physiotherapy helped me reduce the pain and tightness in just 7 days.

Need: Alleviate back pain, reduce tightness in the back.

MORE 👇
2. Emotional:
The emotional results the product helps them attain.

Ex: I was able to sleep people because I don't experience pain anymore, so I wake up feeling focused, in a better mood, and mentally restored.

Need: Better mood, feel focused, mentally restored
OBSTACLES

What's stopping them from buying?
What are the objections they have?

Ex: "I don't know how to use a foam roller. I've read it's actually bad for your back pain."

Answers to the objections, and you'll have them in your pocket!
Now, how do we find this information?

It's quite a simple process.

Google!

Here are some search queries you can use.
With PLAN 0, you'll be able to:
