1/10 It’s revolting when guys like Bolton choose to come forward with the truth only when it’s profitable to do so. But for @AWeissmann_ to speak out now when he can turn a buck off of the murder of American democracy instead of when it could have saved it is pure cowardice. https://twitter.com/AWeissmann_/status/1308110763681345537
2/10 He could have demanded that the steps not taken be taken, putting his own career on the line. He could have quit and shared what he knew and believed with the Democrats. He could have come forward with the truth when Barr lied about it.
3/10 Instead, the man who took down Vinny the Chin, who ordered a hit on John Gotti, didn’t think either justice or American democracy were worth the personal risk to tell us that key decisions in the Mueller investigation were made so as not to anger its most powerful subject.
4/10 Some are touting his book as an astonishing, unprecedented mea culpa. How courageous he is to admit his failure.
It’s easy to be that courageous when you’re raking in book royalties.

5/10 You know who I think is courageous?
The families fleeing violence in Central America who put it all on the line to come here only to be irreparably ripped apart. How many of them might’ve been saved if @AWeissmann_ hadn’t waited for a lucrative opportunity to bare his soul?

6/10 The essential workers who risk their lives responding to COVID19. How many of them would‘ve been better prepared and able treat patients if @AWeissman_’s information had come out sooner?
7/10 The unnecessary victims of COVID19, forced to face their own mortality alone, without the comfort and support of loved ones. The families of the victims that died, but who get up each day in an America where our Russian asset of a president mocks their pain as a hoax.
8/10 The protesters in places like DC, Portland and NYC who risk rubber bullets and chemical warfare to exercise their First Amendment rights, coming back time and time again, seeking the justice @AWeissmann_ was duty bound to serve.
9/10 Those in the military who choose to stay in knowing they could be called upon to give their last full measure by a man who cheated his way out of service, who calls them suckers and losers while doing so and who does nothing as Russia pays bounties on their lives.
10/10 I will not be buying this book or taking it out at a public library. @AWeissmann_ can donate every penny of his royalties to worthy causes in an effort to cleanse himself of the stain.
He’ll still be a coward in my book.
