We always talk about the go-to morning routines but let's look at nightly routines.

What you do at night is just as important as what you do in the morning in order to be productive.

Here are a few of my keys to a great nightly routine!

Cut caffeine by 4:00 PM

Those 9-5 grinders love coffee ☕ or some type of caffeine

Caffeine can keep us focused in the late afternoon but can stay in your system for up to 6 hours!

Cut the caffeine and fall asleep more quickly!
Instead of caffeine or alcohol, drink water 💧

Dehydration can make you sluggish so make sure you are staying hydrated throughout the evening!
Eat a healthy dinner! 🥗

Make sure to not over eat or eat heavy foods!

These can cause indigestion and discomfort around bedtime.
Prepare for tomorrow!

✅Reflect on your day
✅Get your gym clothes and work outfit ready
✅Set your goals for tomorrow
✅Tidy up your house
✅Prepare lunch for tomorrow

Do what you can to set yourself up for success!
Put down your phone at least 30 minutes before bed! 📱

The blue light from your screen affects the production of melatonin, which is necessary for a restful night's sleep 🛏️
Take care of your hygiene needs!

Not just brushing your 🦷

A warm bath or shower allows your body temp to raise and then drop after stepping out of the shower 🛀

This change in temperature causes sleepiness
Finally, make sure to go to bed at the same time every night!

You want between 7-8 hours so if you wake up at 5 am make sure you're going to bed between 9-10 PM!
