Dear ex-Muslim Men.
Let talk about mental health. I'll start.

I've recently been through disownment from Family and even though I thought I was ready to deal with what they would throw at me after coming out to them about my apostasy it still affected me in many ways. (1/6)
I found my confidence in all other relationships in life fading, thinking if people who are programmed to love me can reject me so can anyone else. Self-worth was at lowest because of the manipulation and emotional blackmail I was facing from parents, Lost all my confidence. 2/6
And the Lockdown didn't help.
There were 2 things that helped me
1) The people in my life, some had been through the same themselves, were always there for me and I'm so glad and honored to have them.

2) Counseling: I can not emphasize on the importance of counceling enough. It helps you keep track of the objectives and makes you aware of the cause of the issues so you can deal with the effects in a healthy way.

Please make sure you have good friends and professonal help.
