the professionals I get to work with daily. Most of our discussions so far have focused on ethics, morals and how, as senior members, it’s our duty to promote and ensure a safe and inclusive workplace for all. I spent a few years in recruiting and always found it so

frustrating how many ppl I spoke with who think the CAF is just bombs, bullets, guns and that we treat our people like expendable objects when from my experience, that couldn’t be further than the truth. Is the military for everyone? Definitely not. Have I witnessed

discrimination and racism? Unfortunately, yes, and that there still lots of work to do on that front. However, I am extremely proud to work within an organization that takes those matters seriously and as a member, I feel fully supported and have multiple channels I can engage

with should I find that myself or any of my fellow soldiers are being discriminated against because of ethnicity, sex, religion or who they choose for a partner. Just felt like sharing some of my thoughts and hope this thread might shed a little light of what the CAF is about
