In the midst of yesterday's Porygon hunting, I achieved another landmark achievement, along with my new #PokemonGOBestBuddy, Sprout the #Venusaur! In just 6 days, too - that's gotta be a new record for me!

With Sprout the #Venusaur being added to our Best #PokemonGOBuddy club, I now have 2 of the original 3 Kanto starters (fully evolved) wearing their #PokemonGOBestBuddy ribbons. Blaze the Charizard is our next focus, which should be soon!

Sprout the #Venusaur and I began our #GOSnapshot series back around the end of February this year, when I first learned of the double-tap for a second animation feature. I like how he stands (partially) upright in his second animation.

The natural scenery outside appears bleak, perhaps a little too so for a #Venusaur to be featured amongst it, but Sprout was happy to pose with my Venusaur-EX Pokémon TCG card back at the homestead.

Still taking #GOSnapshot pics of Sprout the #Venusaur back around the end of winter, we patiently awaited the end of the snowy season for the local plantlife to spring back to life. It felt like it was taking forever this year!

Sprout's and my patience eventually paid off, as once enough time had passed, we finally started to see some bright green grass returning to the fields for my #Venusaur to use for his #GOSnapshot backgrounds!

Huzzah, the greenery of the natural plantlife finally began to return to the city! Around the end of May/early June, Sprout the #Venusaur and I struck out for some more #GOSnapshot pics, since we could finally find some nice scenery!

As Sprout and I were nearing Best #PokemonGOBuddy rank, we continued our #GOSnapshot quest to find nifty plantlife to snap pics at. The plants in this first pic definitely reminded me of the flower on #Venusaur's back.

I had to swing my #Venusaur, Sprout, by Kierstead's Flower Shop at some point, so he could see how his bloom matches up against the pros'. We also snapped some more sunny day grassy field #GOSnapshot pics afterwards.
