#RaiderNation is one of the best & most loyal fan bases in football. Obviously, not the same as being here but hope this thread/tour will help introduce you to your new home a little better... 1/16
The field is grown & maintained outside. It’s the only true indoor stadium currently in the NFL to have a natural grass surface. I’m told #Raiders owner Mark Davis loves the old AFL imagery of players yanking grass out of their facemasks, the way football ought to be played. 2/16
Now it’s inside. Looks awesome. 3/16
The many clubs/suites certainly have a Las Vegas lounge look & feel to them. This one stretches 60 yards, from one 20 to the other. 4/16
This one in the end zone is supposed to have a nightclub type atmosphere🕺🏻💃🏻 5/16
This is a look inside the Al Davis “torch” it’ll be the largest and tallest 3D printed structure ever built, currently pending Guinness book of world records approval. Made up of 225 blocks (those are the 3D prints) & 1,148 aluminum tiles 6/16
The famous Al Davis quotes/ #Raider mottos are inscribed at the base of the torch. 7/16
They brought the tiles over from Oakland with the signatures of all the people who took part in the ceremonial lighting. They’ll have a surprise guest to do it tonight. 8/16
A look from the other side of the Stadium. 9/16
The #Raiders did a great job paying homage to their rich history. 10/16
There’s also this. Every #Raider who’s in the @ProFootballHOF has his own plaque and it’s located in one of the concourses so it’ll be visible to the public. 11/16
Then there’s the art, probably my favorite part of the stadium thus far. 12/16
Another example of Las Vegas & Raiders history intertwined. 13/16
More cool paintings from local Las Vegas artists. 14/16
Last but not least, the concessions. Several celebrity chefs will have a presence here, like this one from @GuyFieri - Tailgate Kitchen & Bar. I’m told #Raiders legend Bo Jackson will also have an eatery here. 15/16
Hope you enjoyed this inside look of the “Death Star” - enjoy the game tonight! 16/16
