A thread on Chelsea's performance against Liverpool:

• We 100% deserved to lose the game however the loss and performance wasn't as bad as people are saying.

• In the first half, Liverpool didn't create any clear cut chances at goal, until the red card.
• In the 2nd half, Liverpool again didn't create much and scored 1 nice goal with the other being a mistake from Kepa.

• Our defense has looked a lot better in recent games against Brighton and Liverpool and that's definitely a positive to look at.
• Now onto the red card: Christensen didn't actually do a bad thing at all, in fact he made the right decision. Kepa is to blame for running off his line and leaving the goal line exposed leaving Christensen no choice. Christy obviously doesn't trust Kepa and I can see why.
• Kepa was poor once again and I think it's safe to say he needs to be binned. The mistake for the red card and the 2nd goal in a big game isn't good enough for a 72 million pound keeper. Mendy will hopefully improve us in the keeper area.
Now onto Lampard who definitely has to take blame for the loss. Not starting Giroud in a game like this was criminal and imo we have a better chance of winning if Giroud started. Mount shouldn't of been on the wing either. Also subbing of Havertz who had a good game was bad.
Lampard needs to get better at in game management and picking an 11 that suits the game and opposition. Our approach wasn't bad at all, we did create chances and we were wasteful. Liverpool were just clinical when they got in.
