reasons why song mingi is a genius, a thread

he isn’t called main rapper and main dancer for nothing

his stage presence is seriously no joke

he’s one of ateez’s choreographers

he knows how to compose music

he has composed lots of unreleased songs (waiting for the mixtape now!)

he, like most rappers, writes his own rap parts

his iconic fix on means fixing/locking your ears to his rap and it’s actually a wordplay cause if you say fix on more than one time all together it sounds like song which is his surname, hence making you remember him

while being a trainee he used to write his rap one day prior the monthly evaluations. sometimes he forgot the lyrics and freestyled through it and got better reactions than the other trainees

not only he knows how to freestyle rap but he’s very very good in freestyle dancing too

when they did the boy with luv performance, the boys practiced for two/three days before the performance itself while mingi was injured so he learnt the choreo only six hours prior it

he wrote his rap for answer one day before he was supposed to record it

he is, along with hongjoong, the member that has the most songs credited to his name, he produced more than 30 songs

he is part of the most copyrighted idols for the 30+ songs he produced

he took advanced math classes

mingi is a genius both academically and musically wise and people need to understand that. i’m tired of people forgetting these all the time and labelling him as st*pid when he isn’t and never was. y’all just ignored him being the smart person he is and focused on other topics

appreciate song mingi for the smart genius he is and start treating all the members equally. they are all worth it, i promise. trust me cause they all deserve the world and i’m willing to give it to them if they ask me
