Every time before the guest will appear in that small box, I'm wondering who is on the other side. I know faces, I know their pictures, but that's not enough.
I don't know the voice, the personality, character.

It's not easy to have a friendly conversation with people that you met for the first time. Still, after each episode, every one of them told me they enjoyed the cosy chat.
Of course, they are not complete strangers. I'm picking my guests by the amount of information I know about them. Things they do, things they like, things they preach.
However, every time I'm scared before the face shows up. You know, what if it goes awkward. What if it doesn't end up as an episode material. What if our conversation turns out to be superficial.
Yet, every time I was relaxed. Even if this video recording and YouTube thingie is not really my thing.
So far, so good! I'm looking forward to record many more episodes. In one format or another. Still, I think the video format is strong medium. You get the better feeling who those people are.
They are not twitter handles, linkedin profile pictures or some avatars. They are real people. Having same struggles as you and me.
They are joining from their offices, studios, co-working spaces kitchens, living rooms.

This podcast thing really kicked my networking on the whole new level.
I create new connections, and they are warm connections in the very beginning. I already break the ice

Guess what is my superpower now? I can approach all those big names to ask for a 30-60 minutes chat. Isn't that awesome? I'm not saying I can get that chat, but I'm not afraid to ask for it.
8 episodes are recorded. 2 are left in the first season. I'm thinking about some names already, and I'm totally in WHY NOT mode.
To close this thread, I want to say how great this experience was for me. And it started as a shower thought. People should start doing it. Not the showers, but the podcast. Well, showers too.
Keep up the good work. You are awesome.
