Finally cancelled my Times subscription. Have been meaning to do this for about two years, however, only got round to it today as you can& #39;t cancel online.
Conversation went a little like this:
Me: "I would like to cancel my subscription, why can& #39;t I do it online?"

Times: "Oh, I& #39;m sorry to hear this, would you like to explain why you would like to cancel?"
M: "It has gone a little funny over the last couple of years"
T: "Oh, funny? Do you have concerns about the editorial line, because we strive to be neutral?"

M: "To be honest, I have found it rather nauseating and sickly since the Brexit vote and General Election"
T: "We always print pieces of both views, if we print a right wing view, we always follow with a left wing view. Can you be more specific please?"

M: "Giles Coren sums up what the paper has become - sneery and metropolitan in the extreme"
T: "Are you cancelling because of Giles Coren?"
M: "No, that is just an example"
T: "Where do you get your news from if you haven& #39;t been reading the Times for two years?"
M: "Telegraph"

T: "Oh, so completely different views to us then, I can understand why you would have an issue with the editorial line"
This had me thinking that they have just exposed themselves. So much for neutrality.
Knobs.
