There are a bunch of people trying to silence me and other disabled people but WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS. Sent to me by others - a recently developed #NDIS #lac checklist which proves the intent to boot existing participants off the scheme. Come on, NDIA. This is a HUGE problem.

2/ I’m not going to walk you through this, you’re adults and if you can’t see how problematic this is, especially given that most state supports are now defunded @MarkMcGowanMP @GladysB @AnnastaciaMP @billshortenmp you need to try a bit harder.

3/ You should know that we think that there are lies being told about this. That this is about a privatisation agenda and an intent to syphon funds required for the support of disabled people into federal coffers. Remember that 4.2bn underspend?

Where’s the trial evaluation?

4/ You’ll notice on the review doc of this that it was commenced on exactly the same day that the trial was discontinued due to covid. This is allegedly already in operation with ‘voluntary #independentassessments being held now along with obscene amounts of data collection.

5/ And disabled people want to know this, so pay attention please Senators and MPs. @Jordonsteele @LindaBurneyMP
If the state supports especially for psychosocial disability (like Phams) have been defunded, who will these ppl who are reassessed be going to when booted off?

6/ If we are supposed to be informally assessed using our ‘primary disability’ according to this checklist yet you are saying it’s not diagnosis based, then how does that work?

7/ A few weeks ago I was admitted to a MHU because of ptsd and related trauma. The waiting room was too loud and violent and I couldn’t cope because autism. I ran away and couldn’t return because manual wheelchair and hill and muscular dystrophy. What was my primary disability?

8/ We can’t separate out our disabilities into categories that impact us most. You do not understand us at all, nor our lives. Tired of us using our personal stories but this is all we have. If my primary disability is md but you say no support to take meds, what does that mean?

9/ If I’m diabetic or need lifesaving meds and can’t take them not because I’m physically disabled but because I’m mad, dudes, I’m just as dead. You gotta realise that you are going to kill people here. We aren’t just exaggerating. 10/ David didn’t die of diabetes or schizophrenia. He died of the failure of the ndis. They won’t even hold an inquest.

11/ I say now - it will be worse than Robodebt, @ScottMorrisonMP. Politically and personally, because ppl get upset when disabled ppl die. Scott, show this to your brother in law and ask him what he reckons. Ask him to talk to others in the MS community and see what they reckon.
