As I read covid headlines from around the world, I have to admit that being in Sweden right now feels like being on another planet.
My 3 kids are in school and have started after school activities (had stopped in spring). Husband works all day at his lab at university (had been half days), and I work a couple days at home and at office. Trips out for shopping now largely as before. Life is pretty normal.
No fear, no hysteria, and no intertwining of politics. And there is pride that schools and healthcare have been kept open and available for ALL. I had a Prof in medical school (in '97) tell me once "the Swedish, they do their epidemiology top notch" How right he was.
