yo imma just say it in my opinion white lgbt+ culture is boring

i think it’s boring because it’s the same thing over and over and over again with them constantly taking things from black and brown people and rehashing it to be about them and then the media ONLY ever shows white lgbt+ culture -

so when you’re not white, especially when you’re black and brown, you don’t even have a sense of belonging you don’t see anybody that looks like you unless it’s a mixed lightskin with 3A hair and then you’re wondering “where am i supposed to be”

and then when you do try to make your own spaces youre fucking seen as stubborn and racist and it’s just fucking ANNOYING there is no variety to white lgbt+ culture it is the same cookie cutter soft “i hate being lgbt+ why don’t you like me” aesthetic

like zero offense to that at all i get it but jesus fucking christ i want something NEW
