Trump will be in Moon Twnsp Tues. I was curious, Trump events are often large, and Allegheny County Health prohibits events with more than 100 people. I asked the County if the event would be prohibited, even following the federal ruling against Wolf's orders, here's the response
"Our legal team is reviewing the federal decision, but all portions of the county’s order remain in effect, including the limitations on events and gatherings with an indoor limitation of 25 and outdoor limitation of 100...
Setting aside any action by the state for a stay and its appeal, the federal ruling did not impact state orders relating to mask wearing, mandatory telework, worker safety, building safety and hospital safety....
It also maintains the mitigation measures related to physical distancing and other preventative steps. Each of those remain in place...
The event to which you are referring is taking place within a business which must abide by the state’s worker safety and building safety orders. If there are complaints made to the county Health Department, the enforcement team will review and determine any appropriate actions."
TLDR for this thread: The County Health Department can't prohibit an event at a private business and there needs to be a complaint after the fact if the business breaks the rules.
