Picking the hive mind here. There are 4 remote learners and 14 in class kids. The teacher doesn't always realize when the remote people need attention as they're focused on the f2f students.

Looking for a mechanism that is external to the host computer to get attention.

Currently, it's Call school, explain to secretary who then pages down to class.

I'm thinking something like a blynclight that the remote people can push a button to turn on and then they teacher has a clear status button.

Doesn't need to be a light per learner, just a low complexity solution to get the good kind of attention.
