Absolute props to the Tories in the way they have completely normalised this ongoing, drudging misery and made tragic, unavoidable loss of life seem inevitable. And now we're back and ready to do it all over again because they just never bothered to sort it out.

Coronavirus has been a threat since January. It is nearly October. Try to push past the numbness they've instilled in us and let rage course through you. NOTHING they have done has been with the intention of success. They have failed to make the situation better at every turn.

Things we might have forgotten:
- they purposefully didn't join the EU procurement scheme
- lied about herd immunity and locked down late
- NO PPE. JUST NONE
- told hospitals to release covid patients back into care homes and tried to cover it up

- No tests. Remember in Feb/March/April when ppl were getting infected at horrendous rates but you didn't know who was carrying the virus because there were absolutely 0 tests?
- Lied about testing rates and numbers

- Unlawfully fined a load of people then let a gov advisor off scot free for bombing up to Durham when he almost certainly had Covid
- Said they were creating a 'world-beating app' that would form the main thrust of their strategy to prevent a 2nd wave then just... never made it

- Created a track and trace system in name only
- Decided to rehaul the entire PHE department just before a second wave was due
- Created travel corridors they arbitrarily changed leaving 1000s stranded at out of pocket all summer but still didn't just... test people

And now they're out of fucking tests again and are blaming the PUBLIC for doing what the government should have by checking they don't have this deadly virus! And we just all accept it!

Allowing myself this brief moment of absolute fury and fire because of the way they've gamed every single one of us. And STILL people are going to die, with absolutely zero inclination that the death toll will be mitigated by any actions taken during the previous 9 months.
