The Integral corollary to this, a thread:

/ An argument with the Red/Opportunist mind is over when one of us is knocked unconscious. https://twitter.com/iamcarolinemc/status/1307349815433592833
/ It’s impossible to win an argument with the Amber/Conforming mind because cults have beliefs, not arguments.
/ It’s hard to win an argument with the Orange/Self-Determining mind, but it’s doable with enough data and rationale.
/ Arguments with the Green/Self-Inquiring mind slide into multiplicity of meaning, becoming tours of intersubjectivity. Not something that can be won.
/ Arguments with the Teal/Integral mind are quite easy, as everyone is right and all arguments have partial truth. Narrowing the context enough & matching to the right truths is the hard part.
/ The Turquoise/Alchemist mind: the universe is an argument with itself, and there’s no one there to argue.
/ An argument with the Indigo/Unitive mind is impossible because they’re more interested in tending to the marinade for tonight’s brisket barbecue.
