the issue with loona’s comeback teasers, a thread by an actual native

honestly, when i heard it was going to be a cowboy type theme, i was worried this would happen so i’m not all that surprised.

similar to twice’s more & more cb, the clothing designs and prints are heavily native inspired. as well as the feathers in choerry’s hair.

some may argue that it’s a “boho look” however, the boho aesthetic is heavily inspired by indigenous clothing and is ca in itself.

with hyunjin’s teaser, it seems she’s supposed to be a cowgirl. that’s not an issue, cowboys are fine however when paired with choerry’s teaser, i’m extremely worried this cb is going to have a “cowboys and indians” concept

personally, i don’t think this is nearly as bad as having dreamcatchers or wearing war bonnets, but casual ca is still ca nonetheless and i hope bbc can apologize and fix this.
