hi, i'm also native, and i personally don't think is ca, idk, i see why a lot of people could feel it is ca, but I, ME, MYSELF, this is an OPINION, you do NOT have to agree at all and i respect that, the fact that we see a braid with feathers in someone's hair does not mean + https://twitter.com/loonacapsule/status/1308063582756777989
we can just assume "yeah, that's from native americans, this is ca", maybe if we did some research, instead of just looking at it and then making a tweet complaining, we can show them and educate them, will they see those tweets? perhaps, we don't know, but saying +
"this is wrong, you should not do this" is not the same that "that's inappropiate because a lot of people get's made fun of this part of their culture, here are some examples of how you can incorporate some elements that give similar vibes without offending some people" +
also calling a braid (a very common hairstyle in every culture) with feathers (birds are literally everywhere) is pretty much even worse than the person with the braid, you are reinforcing a stereotype, and minimizing a whole culture +
now repeat after me, braid + feather =/= native americans, that's it, i hope y'all really can stop with that
