Digital/NFT Art is taking over.

How do you take part in this revolution?

Thread 👇
1/ Digital Art has always existed.

What's different?

#blockchain.

You can now verify ownership, timestamped and connected to the owner via an NFT, (Non Fungible Token)

NFTs can be bought and sold, attributed to Art, Digital Land, etc.

2/ So how do you get involved?

As a Collector: Investing/Buying Art/NFTs is different than just buying cryptocurrency.

Each Art piece and Artist is different and appeals to their set of collectors.

So a lot more investigating needed.
3/ Also, this is crypto.

There's MAD money flying around.

People who bought Bitcoin and ethereum for dollars and are now sitting on multimillion dollar portfolios will diversify.

So guess what's going to happen to Digital Art over time?
4/ My story,

I found some artists I like, had a lot of collector interest, knew how to market themselves/tell their story and bought knowing they're only going to continue to grow making their earlier pieces naturally more valuable.

Examples below,
5/ . @fewocious

Loved the art the moment I saw it,

Lots of collector interest including comments from @APompliano under tweets,

Markets VERY well.

Extremely humble, supportive and a lovely personality to get behind.

Bought these 3-4 pieces instantly. https://twitter.com/fewocious/status/1300515932519841792?s=19
6/ . @Jose_Delbo

87 year old legendary artist for early Marvel comics.

Need I say more?

Bonus - obviously had some big Collector interest. When people in the Marvel industry catch on, no doubt this will increase in value.

Only has 3 x 1/1 pieces. Again, bought this,
7/ @marc0matic

Fell in love with this piece the moment I saw it.

Pushing the boundary with VR, AR art.

Unique art style, lots of Collector interest, lots of social buzz, easy buy here.
8/ I have a ton more art.

The above are a few.

But I buy art from people that have great Art, have something special and know how to create social awareness for their work.

In a way, you're investing in their career.

Fascinating.
9/ In each instance, I HAD to LOVE the piece.

It wasn't an investment, more an obsession with the actual art.

Investment potential was a massive bonus.

There's 100's of amazing artists out there on @SuperRare_co, @makersplaceco, @KnownOrigin_io , @rariblecom, @opensea etc.
10/ Take your time to browse, follow some artists, talk to some collectors and you'll be buzzing.

Many artists up and coming selling art for 0.1-0.5 eth. Multiple editions.

Hope this thread sheds some light on the topic.
11/ Big thanks to @WhaleShark_Pro , @CryptoSteveWand, @FrankyNeedles, @pablorfraile, @toonpunk23 + others for their guidance on getting started.
