The quote, which is often times used to ‘prove’ that Siwon is homophobic, is fabricated. It’s supposedly from an Yale article in 2007, which 1. Doesn’t exist and 2. Siwon could barely speak English during that time and couldn’t have given such a detailed answer.

Siwon has shown support to the LGBTQ+ ever since. The most famous example would be him supporting a trans actress!
About Leeteuk and Yoona: he had jokingly proposed to her, it was never serious. They both took it as a joke and still have a very close friendship with each other. Yoona + other SNSD members are very close to him and have praised him multiple times. Same goes for Krystal.
About the Lo Siento ft. Irene situation: Leeteuk was already taking more distance from her in comparison to the original choreo. This shows that he was actually mindful of her. Also she looks happy and okay during the whole performance and other instances of skinship.
Suju are very well-known for being nice and supportive of their juniors, even outside of SM. Whenever they MC, they always make sure the guests have a good time and are comfortable ex. Eunhyuk at weekly idol atm!
